Wound up in Wexford

With friends

I was on the road by about 9.30.  Stopped at Tesco, and at a couple of garden centres.  Because we hadn't bought much in the way of plants for a couple of years, we had been comparing prices of plants in Ireland now with the prices in England several years ago, and thinking that everything seemed outrageously expensive.  But the prices in the UK have clearly increased over the last couple of years - made the prices in Ireland seem less unreasonable.

I charged up at a new charging station where there were some 12 or 14 chargers, all really high speed.  Our car is too old to take advantage of the ultra rapid charging - but it did charge quite fast, whilst I sat and chatted with W, catching up with news of progress on the polytunnel and other home improvements.

I'm staying a few days with friends from way back - from when we lived in Wales in the mid 80s.  No photos taken en route, so after dinner, S and S posed for me before we all retired to bed.
