Frog Hunter

Whooo has been visiting our bog the past three mornings? The FrogHunter, that's who. This Barred Owl sits silently on a winged elm limb about five feet above our bog. She silently studies the area, searching for the green frogs who call it home. Ms Owl is very patient, sitting there for at least 45 minutes to an hour each morning. I've yet to see her drop down to the three inch deep bog after one of the resident amphibians. I assume that she's been successful in the recent past or she wouldn't spend her time.
