You can't always get what you want

Woke up at 5:30 and went outside, taking the camera with me. Went to the rock to blip the birds who often are on the rocky beach of our island, but noticed once again that were already some distance away having evidently heard me or seen me long before I did. The made so nice wakes and ripples that this was perhaps the best today, at least somewhat different.
