Wafting Erratically

A much cooler 67°F today gave a feel of September, if not downright autumnal. After recent weeks in the 90s, it is a relief, but alas, I feel the winds of change.

The prairie seems to have settled overnight, a sort of contraction, the flowers losing their lustre and its height diminished. Patches of open water have appeared in the green algae covering the inlet.

I glanced back to the lake and saw the tips of the reeds glisten in the late hazy sun. They wafted erratically in the wind and I was glad I opted for an extra layer.

Extra: More Randomness.
