Summer Selfie

Hot, hot, hot outside today.
I did a shift at YorkGate and l felt l was baking.
Stayed inside my little summerhouse as much as l could even though we were very busy. 
Luckily we could accommodate all visitors, some who had traveled quite a way. Lots of positive comments from people as they were leaving.
So no photo opportunities and it’s a selfie in my sunhat.
Came away with two free plants and some bulbs ( no idea what they are so looking forward to being surprised). Too hot to enjoy my Bakewell tart so that’s come home with me too but l did enjoy the flat white.

Looking forward to the closing ceremony of the Olympics this evening. Really enjoyed watching them , always like to watch sports l am not familiar with. Think what l have liked more is the overwhelming feeling of goodwill between competitors.
