Sunday

We are very fortunate in that Belfast is having what locals are referring to as a heatwave. It's about 21° which is what I call near perfect.

Today's walk took in the site of the now demolished Orangefield High School. Van Morrison was a pupil along with a few NI writers. Education must have been very good for a while.

I thought it was a rewilding site but locals have told me it is likely earmarked for housing.

We've made a bit of progress on the house. There's now a bed and the painting will start tomorrow!

At home, Lucy has thrown a birthday tea for Florence!
