Scapa Flow

CMC departed early to go across to the Bolt Hole in Hoy to cut the grass.  I continued to paint the rear elevation of the house.  I feel we both had frustrating starts as I couldn’t see the Hoy Hills at one time through the rain.  However, mid afternoon we were allowed a glimpse of blue and a sheen on the sea.  Phil called round for some glass to make cloches with.  I didn’t do anything else – I am saving myself for the morn’s dancing.
