BATTLE SCARS

I don't know if this is the same Emperor dragonfly I blipped nearly two weeks ago, but it was patrolling the same pond. It's looking as though it has been through a few battles and is definitely the worse for wear now but was still seeing off intruders. Further away from the water I spotted a female Common Hawker hanging in some undergrowth (extra). It's a partner to Kath's blip today - as she says, it's good to see them back.
