Perth

We went to Perth today on a very hot and humid day. First stop was the Perth Highland Games which was also hosting the European Pipe Band Championship. The place was packed and we watched some track and field events and some Scottish Country Dancing all to the accompaniment of massed pipe bands. Seeking refreshment we wandered into Perth for a coffee ; passing this highland cow commemorating Scotland’s inglorious progress in this years Euros.
