As one (car) door closes another opens

Not an exciting blip but for me a slightly sad one. After Wednesday’s debacle which exposed the AA as a shower of incompetents and a traumatic long, expensive process of getting the car home. It’s now been checked a friend who is a master mechanic and the prognosis is that it’s not worth repairing. So today was about shedding one car and finding another. Which I did. Still it was a rubbish way to spend a Saturday.
