River Avon

I went to Mass this morning and afterwards picked Jayne up and we went into Stratford to support one of our bowls club members. He was playing a match against someone from Avon Bowls Club.

Oops, the phone camera was set on ‘vivid’ so apologies (:-D

Their club is in a wonderful position alongside the River Avon and opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Unfortunately our man lost the match.

The river was busy with pleasure boats and the Recreation ground alongside the river was very busy too. Ice cream vans doing a roaring trade.
