Ladies Day

A leisurely start to the day and then a trip up to the Lavender Farm in Kinross for their final day this year.

I've been a few times now but never this late - the lavender was definitely past it's best but as harvesting had already started we got to see the distillation process. They only produce 10 litres of lavender essential oil each year and this is what they've got so far.

A quick ice cream stop off at North Queensferry and after a wee refreshment stop in the garden in South Queensferry it was time to head back to the hills.

Got bored of the Olympic ceremony after 90mins but if Tom Cruise does indeed mission impossible himself into the stade then I'm sure the news will show me in the morning.

Absolutely shattered and have a funny feeling I will sleep well tonight :)
