Selfie with sun lounger

Temp 22C.
Mini heatwave today.  It may only last a day but I am determined to enjoy it. Even M who doesn’t like sitting in the sun decides to join me in the patio.
 
The afternoon silence on this blissful summer afternoon though is suddenly broken by a helicopter hovering above a neighbour’s house.
It comes so close and low we think it is going to land.
M waves to it. It promptly leaves.
 
We are on the flight path from Edinburgh airport to Gleneagles, so helicopters are a fairly regular occurrence.
