Sunday ...

... Funday.

The weather was perfect today ... so much better than last week when we had rain almost all week.

That said ... we headed up to Minsi Lake after breakfast for a lovely paddle in the kayak.  Shortly after we started our kayaking we were lucky enough to see two beautiful Great Egrets.  Thank goodness I had the camera at the ready to get some shots.  And I was actually pleased with several of the shots ... I'm not always successful at getting decent on the fly shots.  I have to thank Richard for spinning the kayak around so that I could pan with this Great Egret as he/she flew by!  xoxo

We kayaked for just over an hour and then had a picnic lunch at the lake.  After lunch we packed up the kayak and returned home.  Once home I jumped in the pool for a nice cooling swim.  I've added into Extras a shot of our resident ruby-throated hummingbird that I took whilst in the pool.  

I had gotten behind on my blip so after supper I worked on processing the past few days of pictures ... plus today's.  If you'd like to take look I've backblipped starting with Flower Friday.
