Just one

I had 3 things on my to do list today. Since we have plenty of bait we wanted to do a little fishing. The storm has the river churned up but we went anyway. We kept 22 pretty perch. Two packages for the freezer and the rest for fish tacos this week. After lunch we installed the 2nd AC. We now think a recent lightning storm may have been what fried the AC's. I will sleep good tonight I hope. After that job was done hubby went to help a friend of ours out as she is having heart problems and her husband is away. I picked 1 1/2lbs of crab. Hubby picked the claws bringing the weight up to 2lbs. That made10 crab cakes for the freezer. A lot of work and a little fun that will be enjoyed during the cold winter. It seems to be coming quick this year.
There was only one chick in this nest. There are other nests that were empty. Our friends nest is also empty. I sure hope next year will be more successful. It is a bit of a worry.
Congrats to all the Olympic athletes. Very proud of all of them for their hard work and sportsmanship. Thanking France for hosting. I enjoyed the games more then any other year.
