Bum

Dogs link Edinburgh and San Diego. They have a statue of Bobby. We have a statue of their street dog, Bum. Bum has been relocated to beside St Cuthbert's Church. He used to be near the entrance to the Gardens now closed due to rock falls.

Before that I went early into town to watch A singing with Rock Choir on the Dome steps. Then up to the EICC via the Gardens and the Markets Market and a much needed sit down (screaming back) and sandwich on Grindlay Street.

2 events at the EICC today. First a discussion about the election and various other topics with Michael Crick, Brian Taylor and John Curtice. They're analysis of the election was fascinating and how does John Curtice hold so many facts in his head. There was also a lot of laughter.

An interlude on a sofa an a G&T before back to hear Jess Phillips who was brilliant. And I got a seat in the front row, again. I've slight criticism, she didn't clarify that 'country' meant E&W not GB or even UK.

It was still very windy outside but I got home quite quickly, on a very busy 47. Watched some TV and had spaghetti carbonara (too much) for dinner. Missed the Red Arrows. Tomorrow is a day off.
