In loving memory of Smokey

Today we had the sad duty of getting a vet to come to our home and assist the peaceful passing of Smokey. We had no doubt that the time was right as she was letting us know. My main is the most recent photo of her, taken last month. My extras were taken in 2022. What a decline over a mere two years, and especially over the last month.

Having almost made 17 years, she was a wonderful companion cat. She was cute, full of character and very beautiful. 

I believe that blippers who are also animal lovers get to know each other's pets through what they write and the pictures they post. I feel I know Hollie, Ivy, Onken, Maggy, Siofra, Cato, Preston - to name but a few. At the same time Smokey drew interested and admiring comments from many of you, for which I say thanks.

We cherish the special memories she leaves us with. An unforgettable cat.
