It was a fab day!

SATURDAY

The day started with a trip to Holywell for the Greenfield Valley Parkrun. 
Just as the Run Director was making the final announcements, I was stunned to see our daughter, Harriet, arrive unexpectedly. She had driven all the way from Nottingham, leaving at 6:00 am, to surprise us with a weekend visit.

The Greenfield Valley Parkrun course is always challenging, but I managed to finish in 32nd place with a time of 28:52.

In the afternoon, we made our way to Llandudno, enjoying a leisurely walk along the promenade and enjoyed a meal out. Afterwards, we took a scenic drive around The Great Orme, pausing to admire the sunset over Puffin Island and Anglesey.

Back at home, Harriet surprised us once more by pulling out her flute, an instrument she hadn’t played in nearly a decade. It was wonderful to have music fill the house again.

All in all, it was a fab day!

P.S. Llandudno was teeming with voracious, hungry seagulls! We even saw one brazenly fly inside a fish and chip shop, trying to snatch a fish right as it was being served. Even in the above Blip you can spot a gull stalking us — those birds are fearless!
