A surprising gift.

I think the theory of six degrees of separation is that we are amazingly connected. A well known socialite and TV personality of the past died last year at age 91.  I never met her but I have ended up with a pair of her shoes. Our receptionist knows someone who was sharing her belongings.

The TV personality, who I remember with fondness, didn’t have children nor siblings and I am happy to have these shoes. I doubt they had been worn. I own very few shoes.
