Blackness Castle

We took Fraser to Blackness Castle this afternoon. It is a very impressive castle within these huge and sturdy walls and there are great views up and down the Forth, the bridges being particularly prominent. It is an ideal castle for children to explore, full of dark corners and spiral staircases.
The recent fine clear skies have been less in evidence today and this shot was only taken as we were about to leave. Better views of the interior will come later I think.
