Brush strokes

It's incredibly hot today. As I don't need to go out urgently I will leave it until tomorrow.

Last night I was asked to do a painting for another breast cancer charity art show. I got on a roll and had made several by early this morning.

I may do some more today.

I like painting with loose brush strokes.

When I first went to art school in Chester I was producing really tight photorealistic images. Our head of school was totally against this approach and taught us all to look more closely and loosen up our brush strokes. So now, 45 years later, for me, photography is one thing, painting another.
