Butterfly Hunting
It was a fine afternoon and the wind had dropped. I thought I'd go Butterfly hunting, thankfully these days it is with a digital camera rather than a net.
Anyway, I "caught" four.. Speckled Wood, Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper and a Peacock. For a spot of variation I "caught" a Slow Worm, warming up under a piece of roofing felt.( Extra)
Despite all that, my pic of the day was a view along the coast, to Saltom Pit (Sunk in 1729, England's first undersea coal mine) and the Western Lighthouse.
