No Way Through

A downside of living in an area with narrow winding roads.

(Re my blip for Saturday and the steps leading down below St Michael's Church, I have come across someone with an answer.   Years ago the church was well known locally for its plays and pantomimes and this basement was used to store costumes and props.   Over the years it was flooded on a few occasions, causing damage to the stored items and structure.   The room is now sealed off and no longer used.)
