There Is No Escape

This feather was caught by a single spiders thread and was being thrashed about by the wind and rain during the thunder storm this morning.
I was amazed I managed to get anything resembling a picture.

SWMBO spent ages this morning trying to book a flight with Ryan Air to go and visit her aunt. Time after time she got through filling everything in ..... and then  --- Nothing. It refused to complete saying the flight was not available.
While she kept trying (and getting increasing angry) I tried contacting them both at the airport and their main 'Helpline'. All I got at the airport was an automated thing wanting to confirm my car-parking and as for the main (not a)Helpline ..... not a thing.

We gave up and headed to the nearest travel agent.
An hour and a half later we left - leaving behind a woman who was completely frazzled and at the point of tearing her hair out, and at least 2 other staff members confused and annoyed by Ryan Air -- but we are (we think) booked on the flight.
The next fly in the ointment may be the car hire....... the desks for car hire may - or may not close at 6.30pm which is the time out flight is due to land.

And they say travel broadens the mind.........
It certainly widens the vocabulary of sweary words.

The evening light on an egg in a bowl caught my eye when I was making the meal  ... as it did on the flowers out the back (pictures of them follow the egg)
