Head In The Clouds

We are having a step down into the yard from the patio built. The man who is doing it is very nice but I get the feeling he hasn’t done much of this. So this morning Jon and I went off bright and early to the Stone Garden to look for some material. What a great place if you like gardens and stone, so much to choose from! We picked up a bluestone slab and of course we didn’t pre measure. We’ll go back and see if we can get another smaller piece. After last nights rain and this morning’s warmth, it was socked in with fog all around the areas close to water. This is a railroad bridge and after a train crosses, they lift it up for safety reasons I guess. I liked the way it disappeared into the fog. Hopefully, things will dry out and we can have this job done this week as we’re going on week 3 for a job that should have taken a couple of days.
