Table Decorations

I spent the morning at the allotment weeding. I filled three sacks. It was hot work as it’s been around 28 degrees again today. I rested several times in a shaded spot where I’ve set up a chair and table. These are a few free plants I picked up in the community area of the allotment- they are left over from the horticultural show. I think one may be a foxglove and the others house plants. Anyway, they cheered my little table.

This afternoon I returned to the allotment to have a look at some old shed panels I want to use to create a shelter for my seat. It will be handy to have somewhere to shelter from the wind, rain and sunshine because at the moment there is virtually no protection from the elements on my plot. I’m not sure how I’ll get on with making the shelter but I’ll give it a go.

Grateful:
- For stewed apple and blackberries for dessert.
- To watch bats flying overhead as I sat in the garden this evening. I could just hear them calling to each other.
