Despite the talk of very high temperatures and sun it was a cloudy start to the day.  I went out for the usual sprint cycle class at the gym and returned home for breakfast.  An hour or so later I was out for a midday appointment with a physiotherapist and the sun was beginning to break through.  My back has certainly improved but is not quite there yet.

When I returned the sun was out fully and it became very warm, well about 24C here by the coast.  I went for a walk to the beach later on in the afternoon when there was a light breeze.  There were many people enjoying a dip in the sea.  What this shot also shows is the recent new development or rather extension of a large black building on the lefthand side of the image.  It's certainly very ugly and surprising that it had planning permission.  I looked at previous images from a year ago and a building did come out towards the sea this far but was only single storey.   Such a shame.
