Castle Fireworks
Day three saw us fight for parking near the Glenfinnian Viaduct, stop in Glasgow for fish and chips, swing by the Falkirk Wheel before ending up back in Edinburgh, where the fringe and tattoo were in full swing.
I persuaded the other two to stay out later than they'd like to see the fireworks at the end of the tattoo. They're tricky to photograph and I wanted practice. They agreed and were impressed that they'd upgraded the castle's defences to shoot out lasers. They were less impressed by the fireworks. Apparently they can do better in their back garden. But they don't have a castle last I checked!
Extra is a quick snap on the way back from just outside the National Gallery. The raindrops on the lens look kinda funky.
