Quarter To Three

I think I chose the warmest time of day to stroll down to Stockbridge and back - and it was a stroll, believe me! - but I needed some pre-holiday meds and a change of library books. Earlier we’d taken the goldfish to its Auntie Cathie’s, a change of fish resort this year, and started to get the houseplants sorted. It doesn’t matter how often you do this kind of stuff, it always takes the same amount of time which is ‘too long’. We got the train tickets sorted too, that’s a plus, and have decided to spend a few days in Hannover at the end of our trip, somewhere new to look forward to.
I’d forgotten that the tenpin singles league started this evening but prompted by a timely eMail reminder I nipped across, played quite well for a couple of games, not quite so well in the final game, collected some unexpected points and headed home for a well deserved beer. Well done me!
