Riff Bank South
Extending our boundaries today. We rowed out to see the works at Ardersier port, but couldn’t get past the dredger working out the channel. Sounds of cheers and canon fire came from Fort George as we passed - celebrating the centuries in raucous fashion.
Picnicked on the sandbar when we grounded and let the tide pick us up before rowing back home past the dolphins playing on the point.
It was a long row and we certainly caught the sun.
