Dollar Store Adventure

This morning, my littlest granddaughter arrived with a dollar bill in her hand. She was so proud to have her own money and asked if we could go somewhere to spend it. Of course, we could.  We went to the Dollar General store. While we were there looking for a way to spend the dollar, her big sister found the Halloween display. She surprised us when she got totally into the Joker character, including the knife!
The girls chose bubble gum for their dollar purchase. 
I just got a call that little Miss now has bubble gum in her hair and needs oil to take it out. Thankfully, my daughter is very forgiving. She was just giving me a heads-up as we are taking the girls to Virginia Beach tomorrow for a few days and need to look out for sticky hair. 
It seems like summer has whizzed by and now we are looking at Halloween costumes.
