The gang's all here!

Imagine my surprise when this flock of brown headed cowbirds were on the feeder.   We usually only see a male and female but today they brought the whole family.   They did not stay long but it was enough to make me happy.

Is it migration season already?  

Wednesday will be 3 weeks since Jerry's heel surgery.  He is putzing along on the knee scooter.   He has 5 more weeks!   We did manage to get him in a vehicle for a drive today to get out of the house.
