Black Tailed Deer
An early start to return to Inverness, for some particular shots I couldn't get out of my head, but I can't go past these deer. I guess these two are still fawns.
We couldn't believe our luck when we saw a small family group and I was so pleased I had the long lens.
These two were playing skittishly, and if interested I've put up a flickr set.
The combination of the stunning landscape and wildlife was quite something.
It's been great travelling with Michael as he's very alive to the wildlife and very accommodating, stopping whenever asked, though it's often been difficult on narrow roads.
I've got many other photos, but will look at them later.
Off for a meal now.
I probably should explain that I've not tagged along on the honeymoon.
I'm not that kind of mother:)
My daughter in law has been finishing a job and working long hours, so Michael has taken this time to show his old mum a good time, as it's quite likely I will not return.
I'm winging my way home tomorrow, and they will honeymoon next week.
