Bottoms Up, Back to Back

On my way back home from a lovely weekend with my sister and BiL I stopped off at Chartwell,  bought by Sir Winston and Lady Clementine Churchill in 1922 and remained their family home for the next 40-odd years.

The black swans, originally native to Australia, were first kept at Chartwell in the 1920s after they were gifted to Sir Winston. One of their favourite spots is the swimming pool, now set aside for nature and wildlife.  I spotted this pair feeding bottoms up. I didn't know swans practised synchronised swimming!
