This compass was part of a very thoughtful gift from a good friend of mine...it was a memory box made by her boyfriend's father,cool enough on its own...but inside were a number of trinkets with labels, a welsh love spoon 'to feed you...', a heart made of bells 'to love...', a little jar with confetti and a cash gift 'to help you....' and this lovely compass 'to guide you...' and I love it!no idea how old it is or its history,but it is beautiful!

I just hope that I can think of something equally special if she ever gets married...!
