Ceasar Salad and summer lights

Quite hot today again, which I love. So I did a load of ironing in the cooler earlier hours of the morning. Sorted out a balloon display for surprise party this Friday and a few chores after a refreshing dip. I then put up a new set of solar lights, bought for my birthday, around the sun umbrella. Asked FK to read my reading from this morning and after he'd showered his whole demeanor from the last couple of days, changed for the better. ''As children grow in understanding, they begin to shift from focusing on themselves to an awareness of how their words and actions affect others around them.''
MrK went to play Padel with Scotty so I made a ceasar salad from scratch for all of us, with grilled chicken, that went down well with all. FK to Cadets and very chatty on return.  The lights came on and looked pretty, although I prefer the warmer yellow lights. I am grateful for outside lighting on these warmer evenings.
