Paintbox.
I was volunteering again this morning at Swindon Museum and Art. I have been scanning documentation related to the celebrated war artist Leslie Cole- a Swindon native.

Today’s photo is another from the Elizabeth Frink exhibition.
Drawing and painting box:
The contents of this box capture a moment in time.
Filled with half-used paints, brushes and other drawing materials, along side photographs of her beloved Norfolk Terrier and her work, it is as if Frink has just left the studio.
Frink and Caaky bought the Bertani wine box in the 1970s while on holiday in Verona. The cassettes included evoke their shared love of classical music and time together. Music formed a constant background while she was working.
