A few ears of wheat that escaped the combine harvesters cutter bars, along with some Ox-eye Daisies and Thistle seed heads. 
Another early walk before it got too hot, then a visit from my sister and brother in law.   After they had left I had a lovely catch up with a friend in Cumbria who is enjoying 18 degrees, 10 degrees less than here.
