Breakfast at Ansty

We travelled home today and mostly north on motorways so I had little chance to take photos.   So I have blipped my brilliant breakfast.

I had apple juice, followed by a selection of fruit with yoghurt and honey, see extra.

Then croissants were brought along with a 'short' of melon and honey.  This was followed by my choice, crumpet with salmon and a poached egg on top with spinach and hollandaise sauce, delicious.  (Main photo)

We also had some toast and a big pot of tea.

We haven't needed food all day!!!

We had a great break and it was so nice to be together.   Cali did all the driving and Bob enjoyed that very much.

Ansty Hall was a super hotel and very good value, it seems part of  small chain of hotels owned by Italian hoteliers.    We would highly recommend it.  We did so much on our short break.

Home now and the washing on!!!
