Monday Monday

Breakfast in hotel and then a visit to the laundry just round the corner. Very handy! No early morning walk this morning as I didn’t get to sleep until silly time. Still up and down for breakfast early though.

We’d booked a table at Cal Tony’s for lunch - 3 mins away, on the front. We now know it’s a family-run place and that makes it even more attractive. We shared a simple tomato salad (a house speciality, peeled tomatoes!) from their own land, and then I had chicken escalope, egg and chips (just what I fancied and a small portion, just right, Goldilocks style) and Bb had a healthier option of small fried fish. Great place for people watching too. I’m sure people watch us and notice that we like our salad first and time to finish it before our main course arrives, just as we notice how much food Spanish families order and eat and how quickly they can place their order! They probably wonder what we’re studying when they see us reading the menu!

We played Yahtzee on the hotel terrace in the early evening. Couldn’t believe I got 5 Yahtzees in 2 games!

Am back-blipping this and so can say that I had a much better sleep tonight! Hearing the waves is lovely.
