Rather Friendly Ducks
Out with family to Dudmaston Hall, near Bridgnorth today. It was a lovely morning and early afternoon before cloud rolled in to mark a change in weather conditions. The house is still partly occupied by the ancestral family but it was interesting to see the remainder of the house, bequeathed to the National Trust in 1980. There were some interesting galleries of modern art, collected by one of the previous owners who worked in the diplomatic service and we were even serenaded by a lady playing a grand piano in one of the rooms.
We had a short walk around the gardens and met by these rather inquisitive ducks by the Big Pool.
Afterwards it was off for a lovely meal in the late afternoon on the way back home.
