Clematis Going Wild

These tiny seedheads will soon be surrounded by the fluff that we call 'old man's beard ' ready to disperse in the wind.

Hedges near me are abundant with this lovely tenacious plant. It's such a shame that not all of it's cousins flourish so well in my garden.
