Festival day

I swam but it wasn't enjoyable, too many people in the fast lanes churning up the water and creating waves.

Down the town to meet K off the Aberdeen bus with a side visit to the West End Fair. Must go back. 

The M92 was late so it was a very brief pit stop at home before back down to the Lavery exhibition which was absolutely brilliant, though my back did not like it.

Coffee in St Giles St then dinner at Vittorio's. I had pizza. Lastly The Chief with Jack Doherty but goodness knows what nonsense locals made of it.

No wait for a bus so home by 9.45 then sat a chatted for ages. K does talk. I was exhausted. 

Despite the rumbles of thunder in the morning and a wee bit rain the weather was kind to us and the sun returned in the afternoon.
