A Very Quiet Day

The “allergies” that the grandchildren were experiencing at the beach last week turned out to be good old fashioned kid germs so I spent today with the sniffles doing absolutely nothing but resting. Sadly, I had to postpone the spinal injection that was scheduled for today but it is what it is. It was a murky, cool day, perfect for reading. I feel a lot better tonight and hope that I’ll feel quite chipper tomorrow. But I’ve rescheduled tomorrow’s obligations too. Another day of rest.

So I got as far as my deck to take today’s blip. This container has really pleased me this year - I’ve not grown this combination of fuchsia and lobelia before - I think it’s quite stunning!
