Drum

Had a lovely afternoon with Karen and Seona playing with the guild drum carder. We made 14 batts between us and even managed to push the boundaries a little and use colours we don't normally work with. My favourite is my red one, it also has rich pink and orange tones through it but its the first time I've used reds so it was quite exciting.

The children went away this morning for a couple of nights so the house was strangely quiet with Carlos back at work too. We've spent the last fortnight with each other and it was so nice.

I was very good and squeezed in a wee tiny bit of housework between weaving, photos and carding.
