Serenity…..

A frost this morning, not a breath of wind. Maisie and I had a nice walk. This is the Taylor River immediately downstream of the High Street Bridge. We saw nearly 20 other dogs and their owners along the River paths…..but kept our distance. I saw friend Ted Grey and his dogs. He, too is recovering from a bout of Covid. He told me his late wife Ellen’s family gathering and memorial service at their home was a “Super Spreader”. Countless family members departed for other parts of New Zealand not just with memories but cases of Covid-19. Oh dear. I had attended the event. It was very special. RIP Ellen. But I am sure I caught Covid-19 elsewhere.
