Varnhem - day1
My first stop is some 300 km from home, close to Skara, one of Swedens oldest cities and Varnhem, a church and a ruin cistersienser monastery, some say the cradle of Sweden as a nation lies here among the powerful clans that lived here during the 11-hundreds, long before Stockholm was a city.
My host, Susanne, knows the priest and we had an exclusive tour around the monastery, the church and the bell tower, where todays blip is from. A very interesting history lesson, in the place where it all happened.
Tomorrow my journey continues another 500 km up north from here. See you there.
