3516. Busy day…

We have had the busiest of days…out early to go down to B&Q to try and source some new handles for our kitchen drawers and cupboards as a couple of them are looking a bit tired.  We found some that would fit…but what a price they were so we headed over to Screwfix to see if they had anything…and we were delighted that they did….and much cheaper!  Whilst we were in the area we called in to the British Heart Foundation to see if they had any chairs we could use at our kitchen table.  The ones we currently have are a bit wobbly and despite not being that old, they haven’t worn well at all.  We managed to find two brand new ones so brought them home and assembled them…they look great and are really comfortable.
We have had several phone calls today to deal with various bits of maintenance within our complex and a phone call from the firm we are using to update our bathrooms.  I spent ages on the phone to Logitech about my hubby’s replacement iPad keyboard as they haven’t done what they promised a few days ago….I’ll need to chase them again if we don’t hear anything further. 
I also popped into town to return a top I’d bought yesterday and picked up a beautiful set of silver and pearl clip on earrings for my neighbour as a gift!
My friend has had her second chemo session today and they have tried to deal with the terrible sickness she had after the first session….it has improved things but she’s still nauseous…..I hope it doesn't last as long as last time as she was floored for days….

I ran out of time to do a proper photo so i photographed my aquamarine ring after I’d cleaned it!
