I've been away for some time, but not because I'm fed up with photography! A couple of weeks ago, my photo exhibition 'Boven Groningen' opened and preparing for that took quite a bit of time. My work also took quite some time. In itself that's okay, but I really wanted to work somewhat closer to home. Now I found a new job, in Groningen, very close to home. I'll start working there in September.

Right now, I'm on holiday with my family in Beerze, Overijssel. A great area where we have rented a summer home for two weeks. Lots of fun for the girls: playing areas (both indoor and outdoor), swimming pool, entertainment, it's all there. And when the children are having fun, it's fun for the parents as well. Today, Nienke and I went for a bike ride and we found this nice spot at the river Vecht, not even ten minutes away from where we're staying. Tonight, I returned with my camera and was able to capture this... I'll probably do some back-blipping once I get home, but I wanted to share this one with you.
