The pier in the sunshine...

...man made and opened in 1910, it took 56 years to build...

Today men in hi-viz jackets were working on both piers to repair damage following vandalism and as a result of one of the big storms.

The piers are both temporarily closed while the work progresses - hope it doesn't take 56 years to repair them...
